Yeah, I know - I've been slow updating the main page here.    I figure after a few months I should get some posts going on the main page again.

First off, we're recruiting.   We need at least two more healers to make sure we're not short a night that someone cannot make it.    We also could use an elemental shaman and a Shadow Priest;  however, the healers take priority at this point.  We've got enough healing priests, but a healing Paladin would be awesome!   If you play any of these classes and want to apply, click on the link below to jump to our recruitment forums:

Right now we're making our way through ICC25, and we just need a few more people to bolster our nights when people cannot attend.  If you're looking for an adult-based guild to play with that is flexible with people, we may be a proper fit!

Update 3/10:  Add a Warlock to that list!

Seriously - that's a long time for anything, let alone a game!   I could go thru the whole "we've done this, done that yadda yadda" but I won't.   I just say:

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY BDC!

Lets hope for another good year, and many more to come!   I look forward to seeing everyone tonite!

A quick update:

Good Job on clearing ToC-25 man a week or so ago.   We just need to farm that a little while and then on to the Heroic version.    Everyone needs to buckle down so we can get people some more gear and move on.    We've got everything in Ulduar down but Yogg;  we've been working on him at our own pace, so we'll get him eventually.    ToC is the more important instance at the moment.

We are still recruiting some talent for our raids.   See our post about membership in the Recruitment section of our forums - the link is above.

Almost 5 years old - the date is coming up soon!

And its time for another update to the main page;  late as usual!

We're currently recruiting a Ret Pally and a Holy Pally directly into our main raider roster.   This is something we do not normally do, but due to a loss of a few people with Real Life situations, we need to get a couple of people into our core roster.   We'll consider other classes on a case-by-case basis also.    We've got a very tight knit group, so it's good when everyone is here but hurts when we lose a couple of people.

And time for another update for the main page!  There has been all sorts of stuff going on in the last month or so!

We're still recruiting for caster classes.   If you're interested in being a member, please click on the forums link above and drop a post in the recruitment section.  We've added a few new members and we welcome them aboard!

Raiding is going well, we're thru 7 bosses in Ulduar, and we'd have cleared the Anti-chamber last week if we wouldn't have run out of time.   The Maiden look-alike and her sidekicks are not a hard boss so I am sure we'll nail her this week.   3 weeks in and we're half way thru!    (Not that it's going to get any easier!)

Thanks for coming to the community event on Wednesday the 8th.   We had a good time busting though AQ40, and damnit - Mendian won the pot AGAIN.  This makes 3 times in a row.  He's gotta have a dice hack.

Also Congrats to Mendian for his Fragment of Val'anyr.  Now we need to get 29 more! ;P

Yeah - once again I have been lazy posting up on the main page.   Sorry about that. 

So we've pretty much cleared everything WotLK has set out for us now.   We're still running Naxx, OS, and Malygos to keep gearing people for Uldar.   Most of the main raider team is geared well enough to go into Uldar, so we'll be starting it as soon as the patch hits.  

Speaking of Uldar, a few of us have copied ourselves over to the PTR to check out Uldar.  We're not going to do it weekly or anything, but we might try to check it out on an off-night so we can see what we're in for.  

Upheaval has a community event coming up next week;  please check out the signup page for more information.  The location is TBA.

Happy New Year to everyone.   Hope everyone had a good time.   It's time to get back at it!  New Years Resolution:  Update this page more!

We've started our 25-man raids up as of Jan 4th.   First night went well, and I expect things will continue to do so. 

The forums and the DKP site have been upgraded to support Wowhead on all item links;  it works much better than the old Allakhazam links we were using.   If you post something and the color doesn't change on the text, just click it once; the item just needs to be inventoried in the database.

2009 here we come!

Thanks to everyone that turned out for the Birthday Party this year.   We gave away some 2300g and a rare card-pet prize.   Thanks to everyone who donated funds to help fluff the pot.   We'll do it again next year, so be ready!

Naxx has been cleared by one of the groups.  Good job guys and everyone keep farming Naxx 10-man. 

As posted in the forums last week, we're officially starting the 25-mans January 4th.   This is will have given everyone 30 days to level and we normally suspend raiding the week of X-mas and New Years anyway.

Keep working the 10-man Naxx and/or heroics and we'll be able to plow thru the 25-man in no time.

The expansion is here!   Everyone have a good time getting up to level 80.   We'll be posting information on raiding, DKP transfers, loot, and scheduling within a week or two.   In the mean time, just focus on getting yourself up to level 80.

We are still trying to figure out the date for our 4th birthday party.   The holiday is whacking out everyone's schedule, so the chance of us actually having it on the 28th of November is pretty slim.    We'll figure something out and let everyone know ASAP.

The Burning Crusade was a a great time for everyone - Hopefully Wrath of the Lich King will be also.

Good job to everyone that was present for the clearing of Black Temple.  I know that some will say 'nerf bat blah blah blah" but who cares?   We had more than half the place cleared before the patch, and honestly, we'd been fine even without the patch changes.  Good job to everyone, and we'll keep working away until the expansion comes out.

Check the forums and the signups for raiding information!   Also, we'll be 4 years old in about a month - BDC B-DAY bash #4 info coming soon.

Quick Updates:  Good job on Gurtog Bloodboil tonite.  Got him down before the nerf.   Shade of Akama and Teron Gorefiend have been  down for a few weeks now.

Hopefully the patch will be this week.  Stay tuned.

Again, I am slacking on my posts here.  Good job to everyone on the last crop of bosses to be dropped.   We need to keep the ball rolling.  Archimonde was a bastard but we finally took care of him.   Gratz to everyone and their hard work and lets get him down again next week!

Azgalor went better than expected!  Good job on downing the guy on the third attempt of the first night seeing him.   In a total of six, 3-hour raiding nights we've downed 4 out of 5 bosses in Hyjal.  Very nice guys.  Archimonde is next!

Make sure you're signing up for raids if you are a main raider.  We need to know if you're available or not.

Finally,  we need one more player for BDC Fantasy Football this year.  The pot should be about 1000g and we need to de-throne Loco!  Post in the forums if you want the last spot.
